Our client is an established business in Australia who imports tiles, and bath fittings from overseas and is responsible for selling these products to new home builders, renovators and other retailers.

In order to apply for this position, you will be ideally have Architectural and Drafting qualifications and experience and be willing to learn and adopt Australian best practices.

Your role is to estimate quantity of tiles required based on studying Architectural drawings

You will be willing to work on Australian public holiday schedule and not Indonesian Public holidays.

The position is a full time position and you are paid as a contractor with the flexibility to work from home provided you have the necessary IT infrastructure in place to ensure your ability to deliver the work on time.

The position requires attention to detail and on time delivery of workload.

Good written and verbal English communication is a must, candidates will be tested for their proficiency. Office times are 8.30 AM to 6.00 PM Bali/Western Australia time. Candidate is expected to have flexibility to extend hours on the weekend an or on weekdays on occasion due to tight deadlines.

Software will be provided however you are expected to have a reasonably powerful computer equipment to enable the software to work and will need to be virtually inspected before commencement to ensure compatibility as well as internet speed.

You will be on probation trial for the first four months

Main duties and responsibilities.

·Estimating the tile, bathroom fitting and fixture quantities from drawings submitted by clients ;

·Preparation of the quantity worksheet for each project and marked up plan;

·Highlight from clients Specification and Addenda that is related to our job and provide the accurate quote accordingly.

·Assist the Senior Estimator and GM in the preparation of tender documents.

·Assist Administration in getting quotes for materials required.

·Familiar with Australian standards for tiles and bathroom fitting and fixtures. (information will be provided)

·Prepare the pricing on variation requests.

·Prepare the daily quotes list . (follow our current quote list, check the emails and list out all the quotes need to be done)

·Provide bathroom layout set out (software will be provided)

About you.

You will share a passion for our purpose to work as a member of a team and be aligned to our core values. In addition, you will demonstrate:

·You have some experience as an estimator in the construction industry.

·You are proficient in Microsoft Excel and plan swift would be preferable.

·Excellent interpersonal/ communication skills, both verbal and written.

·Very important to have Attention to detail, to deliver concise and accurate results on time.

·Good with math/numbers to provide accurate information.

·Willing to learn new skill.

·Experience on ready building plan;

·Interior experience would be preferable

·Important to have high speed good computer to work on plans, images etc ( 2 screens would be preferrable)
