About The Role

To implement and install in Cabin FMS Hardware and Mesh Network that meet the operational standard

In This Role, You Will

• Understand critical risks in work area and reassess hazards if changes occur in the work area. Familiar with and applies the standards and procedures relevant to their job Stop the job if in doubt and fix the problem or warn people of any danger Share knowledge with others and contribute to team discussions and meetings
• Works as directed towards financial goals Follows business processes relevant to their work Demonstrates a broad understanding of Thiess’ functional structure and commercial interests
• Works independently to complete most work activities Provides input and assists others when asked Builds rapport with a diverse range of individuals Listens and communicates clearly (verbally and in writing). Keeps people informed Provide timely & quality support, investigation, response, feedback, escalation, assistance and resolution to incidents logged by the Thiess Helpdesk to Thiess & Business Unit Employees Maintain a high level of professionalism, integrity, interpersonal and communication skills and present a customer focused attitude in daily operations Ensure all Incidents and work tasks are updated and maintained in a timely and informative manner to promote SLA compliance and knowledge Proactively review the services being provided to ensure they are fit for purpose, cost effective and performing adequately Develop & maintain relationships with business representatives and key stakeholders
• Ensure FMS equipment and network services are available when required by the business and are performing as expected Provide technical advice and support to internal/external staff when required Day to day administration of FMS, Mesh network and associated hardware Diagnose and resolve support calls relating to the above mentioned Thiess systems Monitor the systems to identify potential issues and forecast future requirements Installation and perform routine maintenance/ check of FMS and Mesh Network related hardware and software

About you

• A valid driver's license (minimum SIM A) Certifications in any of the following Maintenance & Light repair, Medium/ Heavy Truck Technician.
• Significant standing, walking, moving, climbing, carrying, bending, kneeling, twisting, handling, pushing, and pulling Ability to lift articles
• High School Diploma, Industrial relevant certification in vehicular repair form accredited college or trade school preferred.
• 2 years of technical hands-on experience servicing and repairing vehicle and equipment in commercial or industrial or mining or oil & gas environment Exposure with Fleet Management System (FMS) installation and support desirable
