About The Role

In this role, you will:

• Provide Technical Advice and Support to internal/ external staff when required
• Monitor system and network to identify potential issue and forecast future requirement
• Day to day administration of Thiess ICT and FMS systems and associated hardware
• Provide information related to customers network, hardware and software purchasing decisions
• Diagnose and resolve support calls related to the above mentioned Thiess Systems
• Lead Site FMS and ICT team and support ICT and Fleet Management Services (FMS) onsite to meet business requirements and strategic objectives
• Ensure all systems and network services are available when required by the business and are performing as expected

About you

• Cisco/ Any Network Certification desirable
• Understanding of hierarchical network design methodologies and technologies
• Hold a tertiary degree in Information Technology
• Exposure of Security practices
• Minimum 1 year experience with Fleet Management System Technology and Mesh network support
• Exposure of enterprise ICT Environments
• Knowledge of Voice of IP
• Experience within a site/ project support team in a leadership/ supervisory role
• Experience of working with a complex ICT Server Environment
• Familiar with working in an environment that is tracked via an incident management tools
• Exposure of ITIL practices desirable
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a leadership/ supervisory role
• Minimum 1 year experience working with networking technology including routers, switches, firewall and VOIP
• Demonstrated experienced in the operation or support of Fleet Management System (in cabin installation) and Mesh Network
• Knowledge of industry cabling standards and methods
• Understanding the OSI Model
• Understanding of IP and associated protocols (e.g., TCP, UDP, RTP, etc.)
