As a Designer, you will be responsible for creating and modifying the standard designs of equipment, systems, or installations, including standard specifications for manufacturing, fabrication or construction for assignments classified as low to medium complexity by applying standard design concepts.
Reporting to Product Specialist, you will be contributing to preparation of specific aspects of design assignments to meet the contractual obligations, while adhering to relevant standards, safety, and quality.
This position is based in Tangerang, Indonesia.
Your responsibilities

• Contributing and sharing experiences in workshops pertaining to engineering design, tools, and processes
• Coordinating with manufacturing and testing functions to ensure the designs are appropriately manufactured/staged and tested
• Contributing to preparation of specific aspects of design assignments to meet the contractual obligations, while adhering to relevant standards, safety, and quality
• Designing engineering solutions, including drawings and calculations according to contractual specification
• Using standard processes and tools, assists in developing new processes and tools for reuse of technical solutions
• Collaborating with the supply chain function and the Project Manager(s) to meet the contractual requirements
• Ensuring Bill of Material (BOM) for the project meets contractual obligations; and project gross margin requirements by not generating Project Left-Over Material (PLOM)
• Supporting technical risk assessments and implements resulting actions for one’s projects

Your background

• A strong focus on safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• Knowledge about Power Distribution
• A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills
• Good to have electrical components, medium voltage switchgear, AutoCad
