Content Editor ( Publishing Team )

The KPI Institute is a research institute specializing in business performance. It operates

research programs in 12 practice domains, ranging from strategy and KPIs to employee

performance, and from customer service to innovation performance. Insights are

disseminated through a variety of publications, subscription services, and a

knowledge platform available to registered members. Support in deploying these insights in

practice is offered through training and advisory services.

A recently initiated project called Institute for Life Management Science (ILMS) is dedicated to

the application of management systems in personal life. A multi-disciplinary research team

explores the structure and application of personal administration at individual, couple, and

family levels. The result of the research project is a series of tools, templates, toolkits, publications,

and training course content. We currently have Instructional Designers working on the

development of minicourses, a Multimedia dedicated to producing podcasts and other

content, and a Marketing Team shaping up our branding and website. We are recruiting

additional team members to help us with the launch of the ILMS brand and its sub-brands.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Interpreting research handover documents and writing standard documents appropriate for the intended audience, based on the handovers
• Collaborating with Junior and Senior Researchers for standard document production and to ensure document accuracy
• Maintaining the company website's technical content
• Creating standard document templates for other technical editors that are easy to apply and adapt
• Providing feedback and advice to researchers
• Reviewing and correcting written technical documents for clarity, grammar, spelling, punctuation, content, and style

Qualifications we look for:

• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, Asana, and Slack
• Strong writing, editing, proofreading, research, and page composition skills
• Have a college/university degree, preferably in Journalism, English, Applied Sciences, Social Sciences, or other related fields
• Advantageous: Have 1-3 years of experience as a technical editor, technical writer, or any related role, and in working with a variety of style guides
• Excellent computer and word processing skills
