About The Role
As we build out and pivot into the consumer health industry and expand our product portfolio, we're looking for a Content Creator/Copywriter to write, proofread, publish, shoot, video edit, and curate various types of content on behalf of VIDA, such as; blog posts, product descriptions and technical specifications, social media (photography, graphic design, and video), email, SEO copy and metadata, press releases, corporate reports, ad copy, outreach correspondence, community engagement, and campaign briefs. To be successful in this role, you should have experience publishing content across a variety of digital platforms, generating e-commerce traffic, and leads as well as driving revenue and awareness for a brand.

Your responsibilities

• Writing outreach and correspondence to engage business and consumer partners and prospects
• Using social media to engage consumers, respond to questions or complaints, and to promote company initiatives.
• Assisting the creative team with the design of promotional materials.
• Suggesting new ways to promote company offerings and to reach consumers.
• Writing, reviewing, editing, and updating content for company websites, blogs, marketing materials, and similar platforms.
• Monitoring social media and company website metrics.
• Conducting research to learn more about current trends, developments, and perceptions about the subject matter, and then contextualizing your findings.
• Update our websites as needed
• Collaborating with internal departments to establish campaign objectives, complete tasks, and identify and solve problems.

Your background

• Familiarity with SEO is a plus
• Portfolio of published articles
• Time-management skills

• A graduate of BSc in Marketing, English, Journalism, or a relevant field
• Demonstrated excellence in writing, proofreading, and editing.
• Knowledge of graphic design, video shooting, and video editing
• Proven work experience as a Content Creator, Copywriter, or similar role
• Excellent writing and editing skills in English
• An ability to fact-check long-form content pieces
• Experience creating strong, engaging content.

We offer
The position is a full-time contractor role, initially reporting to our Head of Marketing, and is 100% remote. Working hours are in the EST time zone. The position comes with competitive compensation and a great benefits package.
