Community Development Job Brief
This position has responsibility to strengthen APRIL Community Development (CD), CD Strategic Planning Manager will play role in leading the strategic planning development to create transformative community empowerment program which align with business and operational sustainable growth. The position is responsible for designing the program strategy and roadmap as well as its alignment with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Responsibilities:
Strategic Direction:
- Develop the CD Long Term Plan to address relevant social issues, laws and regulations requirement as well as applicable and relevant standards which also become enabler of business and operations sustainable growth.
- Develop and execute socio economic baseline and impact measurement framework to increase fit for purpose CD program.
- Review and design the CD program to increase program’s fit for purpose and its alignment with APRIL Group priority in SDGs.
- Identify key Community Development (CD) priorities and improvement opportunities to develop strategic and impactful programs.
Program Implementation, Monitoring and Evaluation
- Oversee the CD Annual and Budget Plan Development based on community needs and in accordance with CD Long Term Plan.
- Responsible for development of Periodic CD Program Report in timely basis as required.
- Performs as quality controller of proposed program and budget for alignment with approved CD Annual Plan.
- Work closely with CD Operations Team to perform periodic monitoring and evaluation to ensure program outcomes are well recorded and evaluated.
Management
- Coordinate the Program Coordinators to strengthen the specific Program Reference on Agribusiness, Micro Small Medium Enterprises, Literacy, Vocational Training, Health and Social Culture Program.
- Provide technical guidance of Project Planning and Implementation to CD Operation Team at HO and areas/sectors from time to time.
- Establish a system to ensure the program reference is implemented on site and updated, if required
Requirements and skills
- Bachelor degree in development studies/agribusiness/anthropology/sociology or other related fields. Master degree in CSR/Social Welfare is preferred.
- 10 years of relevant experience in operational of Community Development (CD) or Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) management with hands-on experience in planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation. Having specific experience in economic development program (agribusiness and micro small medium enterprise program)
- Proven high skills in socio economic analysis and relevance to CD context, preferably with experience in managing Public Private Partnership program.
- Strong innovation mindset in design and implementation of CD initiatives.
- Familiar with Sustainable Livelihood Approach and Theory of Change or Logical Framework Analysis.
- Understand AA1000 SES, ISO 26000, GRI framework, IFC Performance Standard and Social Return On Investment (SROI) is desirable.
- Ability to identify and analysis risk and opportunity including recommend solutions.
- Well-developed interpersonal, written and oral communication including reporting skill in English and Bahasa
