Job Description

Qualifications

- At least 4-6 years experience as baker with hotel background or/and bakery experience, fine dining background and diploma as master baker is an advantage.

- Relevant experiences in Baking (Lamination & Sourdough).

- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.

- Managing and coordinating a team of bakers and apprentice bakers

- Active listening and effective communication skills.

-Flexibility to work in morning / afternoon / night shifts and team player.

- Excellent presentation and proactive communication skills in both verbal and written in English.

- Baker in larger operation, good practical, operational and adequate administrative skills with a flair for creativity is a must.

- Monitoring deliveries, incoming order and stock

- Following recipe cards and making sure others follow them.

- Respecting health and safety regulations and making sure other respect them.

- Ensuring equipment is properly maintained.

- Follow Food Hygiene & HACCP standard.


Responsibilities

- Taking ownership of all things related to baking, and maintaining an organized and efficient process for regular operations. Runs the area with attention to detail, creating a vibrant culture and a healthy team setting. Execute Marriott's high standards and hold their team accountable to these standards.
