👥 Profile Description:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Carbon Project Intern, interested in the field of carbon credits and nature based projects:

• The internship will run for3-6 months with potential of joining our team full time.
• Ability to learn quickly and work independently.
• Working remotely with a direct contact with the CEO & Co-founder based in Germany.
• Interest in climate change mitigation and the role of carbon projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

💻Responsibilities:

• Conducting literature reviews on the latest methodologies development.
• Collaborating with the product team to incorporate findings into our digital platform.
• Assisting with the carbon stock calculations for nature based projects (e.g. mangroves, forestry) based on recognized methodologies such as Verra and Gold Standard.
• Working closely with the team to develop carbon stock prediction models.

📗 Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of carbon sequestration processes, especially in mangrove ecosystems.
• Some experience or coursework involving data analysis and/or statistical modeling.
• Currently pursuing a degree in Environmental Science, Forestry, or a related field.
