Job Description
Role Description
  1. Ideate, develop, lead, and/or execute Stilsie's product lines, ensuring that:
  • The products can drive brand growth and customer engagement the products are aligned with the brand identity
  • It produces innovative and high-quality products
  • The products meet the needs and values of the target market

2. Ideate, develop, lead, and/or execute Stilsie's creative vision, ensuring that:

  • All brand touchpoints align with the brand's messaging, brand’s identity, and visual identity
  • It meets the needs of the target market


Objective of Role
  • To develop and manage the product development process, ensuring that all products are of high-quality, functional, and aesthetically pleasing.
  • Develop and execute the overall creative strategy for Stilsie, ensuring that all products and campaigns are aligned with the brand vision, meet business goals, and delight customers.
  • To develop and manage the creative direction and aesthetic of Stilsie's brand identity.

9.Effective execution management

  1. Develop, oversee, and/or execute the overall creative strategy and direction for Stilsie (including product design, product launches, packaging, and all visual brand touchpoints)
  2. Oversee the development of product lines, ensuring that they are of high-quality, functional, and aesthetically pleasing, and meet the needs of the target market.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Operations, to ensure that all creative outputs align with business goals and are effectively communicated to customers.
  4. Keep up-to-date with fashion trends and consumer preferences to inform creative decisions through tools such as mood boards, color boards, silhouette boards, fabric boards, and product range plan.
  5. Work closely with the Fashion Designer and/or Fashion Illustrator to develop concepts and designs for Stilsie's product lines.
  6. Work closely with the developer or sample maker to ensure that the designs are translated into functional, high-quality products.
  7. Manage the product development process, ensuring that timelines are met and quality standards are maintained.
  8. Keep up-to-date with fashion trends and consumer preferences to inform product development decisions.
  9. Communicate regularly with the Sales and Marketing teams to ensure that the products meet the needs of the target market.
  10. Collaborate with the Graphic Designer, Photographer, Videographer, and Content Creator to ensure that all creative assets align with the brand's visual identity and messaging.
  11. Keep up-to-date with design trends and visual communication techniques to inform creative decisions.
  12. Communicate regularly with the Marketing and Sales teams to ensure that the creative direction aligns with the overall business strategy.
  13. Creating visual concepts, using computer software or by hand, to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, or captivate consumers
  14. Developing the overall layout and production design for various marketing and advertising materials, such as brochures, magazines, and corporate reports
  15. Using graphic design software to produce new designs, collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the design meets the desired specifications
  16. Presenting the final design to various stakeholders, making any necessary changes based on feedback received


Requirements
  • Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout design principles is an advantage.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage and mentor a team of creative professionals.
  • Excellent leadership, project management, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent research and analysis skills, with the ability to identify and interpret trends and data.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Strong understanding of design principles, fashion trends, branding, consumer behavior and preferences, visual communication techniques, and competitor activity.
  • Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is an advantage
  • Proven track record of successful creative execution, with a portfolio of innovative and high-quality products and campaigns.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in creative direction, preferably in the fashion or retail industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in fashion design, product development, marketing, or a related field.
