Position: Backend Developer (Rust) - AWS Ecosystem Experience
Requirements:
- Proficiency in backend development using Rust programming language.
- In-depth experience with the AWS ecosystem, including but not limited to AWS Lambda, Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon S3, and AWS CloudFormation.
- Strong understanding of the subscription model concept and its implementation in a web application context.
- Solid understanding of software development principles, data structures, and algorithms.
- Familiarity with containerisation technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain scalable backend systems using Rust.
- Design and implement APIs and microservices to support the overall architecture.
- Deploy and manage services on the AWS cloud platform, utilising various AWS services.
- Implement and maintain subscription-based functionalities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve backend issues, providing timely bug fixes and updates.
- Conduct thorough testing and code reviews to maintain code quality.
