Company overview:

ProSpace is a tech start-up focusing on IoT/analytics in optimising large workplace planning, as well as helping enterprise clients to manage their office smartly. Our primary customers are Fortune 500 MNCs. We are headquartered in Singapore and currently embarking on our regional expansion plan.

Platform overview:

For the analytics platform, it consists of two parts: the hardware system responsible for collecting and aggregating the workplace usage data within enterprise, and the software system that stores, processes and presents the data with enterprise friendly interfaces. We are “technical-heavy” start up as the hardware system is built 100% in-house, and we design the system architecture internally to meet the stringent enterprise requirements.

Besides, we also provide an integrated management system to help transition of client’s office into smart and thriving workspace environment. By bring in list of seamlessly integrated features such as viewing available conference rooms, reserving a desk, managing visitors, finding colleagues, managing repair request in office etc, it helps to improve the productivity of both remote and in-house employees of our clients, and as a result, drives the general success for their overall workplace experience.

WHO YOU ARE:

• Reliable team player who is responsible for the on-schedule delivery of tasks.
• Experienced engineer who can deploy backend application and manage our live servers, measure and anticipate upcoming scaling challenges. Able to prepare, scale and alert the team accordingly.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for overall performance and reliability of ProSpace system infrastructure.
• Design and implement the reliable automation infrastructure Drive efficiencies in systems and processes: capacity planning, configuration management, performance tuning, monitoring and root cause analysis.
• Develop and deliver maintainable backend applications for ProSpace products.

SKILL SETS:

General:

• Proficient on configuring and web server tool chains configurations and management. (Nginx stack is preferred. Experience on other similar tools also applies.)
• Proficient on Linux (e.g Ubuntu, CentOS, etc) server system management.
• A Computer Science/ Computer Engineering Bachelor degree.
• 4+ years working experience in Golang development.
• Experience on cloud platform infrastructure management. (prefer AWS)
• Proficient in backend development using Java/Golang.
• Rich domain experience in designing, planning, developing and scaling enterprise standard backend system.
