ChampionX is looking for a Finance Intern for the summer, located in Baku. This is your opportunity to join a growing company to develop invaluable working knowledge of Accounting & Finance. What You Will Do


The main duties / responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:


  • Assist with payroll processing.
  • Geneal administrative tasks, such as filing financial documents and maintaining records, responding to inquiries and assisting team members.
  • Assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes, including reviewing and processing vendor invoices and assisting with customer invoicing.
  • Proactively looking for ways to improve Finance & Accounting systems and processes.
  • Special projects such as maintaining and developing new policies, processes and forms, and assisting with ad-hoc accounting projects and initiatives.
  • Supporting bookkeeping, including entering financial data into accounting software and/or spreadsheets and posting journal entries with the Accountant.


Minimum Qualifications


  • Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information carefully and with discretion
  • Ability to act in a personable, professional and tactful manner
  • Capable with Microsoft applications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to demonstrate initiative and problem-solving skills
  • A keen interest in a career in Finance & Accounting
  • Certificate of Complete Secondary Education (or equivalent)


Preferred Qualifications


  • Degree in Accounting/ Finance or working towards.
