Remote Video Editor Jobs

Responsibilities • Collaborate with main team to develop and execute campaign deliverables.

• Shoot and edit youtube videos according to the requirements from related departments.

Ability to translate concepts into motion graphics.

• Solid understanding of social media platforms especially Youtube

• Fluency in English (especially listening) is a strong plus

• A positive attitude and flexibility for last-minute changes

Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on over-communicating to ensure clarity and alignment

Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage

Edit a range of video content, with a target of producing at least one video per week

Work closely with content creators to ensure their vision is captured and conveyed effectively

Handle up to four different video types, mastering the distinct editing style each requires

A keen understanding of the YouTuber's narrative and storytelling approach

Edit and refine videos using pre-existing templates to meet the content requirements of DOT Indonesia's social media channels (Instagram / YouTube).

Demonstrate creativity in enhancing video content to ensure engagement and alignment with the brand's image.

Collaborate with the creative team to conceptualize and execute compelling video projects.

A strong creative demonstrated through previous video editing projects.

Goal-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving targeted outcomes.

Proficiency in Adobe Premiere with the ability to navigate its tools and features effectively.

Research footages based on script

Mixing Audio, music, voice over

Responsive and open to revision

Experience in video production, social media creative or marketing, or any related field

Having skills to operate Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects

Coordinate with internal team and external partner for video production

Review the storyboard and the video created by the team

Edit the video in a way that is engaging and impactful to the audience

Take a brief to graph production team’s needs and specifications

Experience in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects.

Edit video pieces in a way that is invisible to the audience.

Take a brief to graph production team’s needs and specifications.

Create shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes’ value and contribution to continuity.

Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film.

Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects.

You have strong organizational and time-management skills

You have knowledge and experience in other Adobe CC Software: e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.

You have knowledge and experience in either Graphic Design, Motion Graphics, or Custom Illustrations.

You have proven experience as a video editor, with a strong portfolio of previous work.

You have Bachelor's degree in film, video production, related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Knowledge of motion graphics software such as After Effects is a plus.
