Procurement Executive Jobs

Degree in Operation Management/Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent education

Knowledge in Purchasing / Inventory / Material (Electronics & Mechanical) and Warehouse Management is an added advantage

Preferably 2 - 3 years related working experience in purchasing / buyer in the Manufacturing environment

Self-starter & good in communication / negotiation skills

MS Office and SAP experience

Devise and use fruitful sourcing strategies.

Strong analytical, problem solving, market knowledge, contract management and strong leadership with capability of influencing people

Handling risk management. Identifying and mitigating potential risks in the supply chain, such as supply disruptions or quality issues.

Providing regular reports on procurement metrics, supplier performance, cost savings, and other key performance indicators to management.

Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively manage a procurement team.

Identifying v endor selection. Evaluating potential suppliers based on criteria like quality, pricing, delivery capabilities, financial stability, and ethical practices.

Procurement Planning. Collaborating with production and planning teams to forecast material requirements and create procurement plans that align with production schedules.t

Support Category Manager in the negotiation and management of contracts to achieve cost effectiveness,

Collaborate with internal stakeholders on cost management initiatives.

Good understanding of category management, risk management, procurement strategy, process and procedures.

At least 2 years of relevant experience in procurement roles, with good appreciation of procurement and governance best practices are preferred.

Critical thinking, analytical and conceptual abilities to understand issues and resolve them.

Good interpersonal, communication, negotiation and influencing skills.

A good Degree in Logistics and/or Supply Chain Management.

Good understanding of industry best practices relating to inventory planning processes and procedures, supply chain, risk management.

At least 2 years of relevant experience in inventory planning and/or logistics.

Some working knowledge of SAP is advantageous.

Good inter-personal skills and communication skills.

Lead a team of Planning Associates to plan the desired level of inventory to ensure availability of goods to support operations.
