Policy Analyst Intern Jobs

Conduct Desk research by reviewing & critiquing government policies, official documents, researches etc.

Basis on your research, you will answer about 35 questions in short texts (about 100 words) with references.

A reference score card & training will be provided before starting the project.

Experience of developing policy reports and articles independently as well as strong verbal communication skills

Minimum 5 years of experience in SE Asia, working in a research or an analytical role on energy transition

Skill for communicating the key insights from a complex subject or dataset in an accessible and compelling way.

Self-motivated, able to work independently; able to multitask; set priorities and meet deadlines with limited direction while working remotely

Proven experience in creating policy impact in ASEAN region through data and research

Experience with power sector modelling

Minimum 7 years of experience in SE Asia, working in a research or an analytical role on energy transition

Proven experience in creating policy impact in ASEAN region through data-led research and strategic comms-based advocacy

Experience of engaging with national journalists, presenting research work in webinars and deliberating on energy transition in panel discussions

Self-motivated, able to work independently; able to multitask; set priorities and meet deadlines with limited direction while working remotely

Experience with power sector modelling

Grow Ember’s ongoing research and advocacy work in ASEAN countries to help accelerate their transition to clean electricity.

Good organizational and time management skills

Knowledge and understanding of policies and SOPs

Good communication and presentation skills

Design and develop company policies and SOPs

Conduct research and analysis to ensure that the policies and SOPs created are in line with current standards and regulations

Coordinate with relevant departments to understand business needs and adjust policies and SOPs as needed

Good knowledge of risk management, fraud management, merchant risk, or compliance related business experience

Minimum 1 year of working experience in Risk Operations and/or Policy, Fraud prevention/management within a fast-paced environment

Excellent analytical, communication, attention to detail, and research skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills while demonstrating exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills

Demonstrate good decision-making skills and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Execute the operation process and procedure related to Risk Operations
