Overview:
A Dental Nurse is a healthcare professional who assists dentists in providing dental care to patients. They are responsible for preparing the patient for treatment, sterilizing instruments, taking x-rays, and providing post-operative care. Dental Nurses must have excellent communication skills and be able to work well with both patients and dentists. They must also be knowledgeable about dental procedures and be able to provide patient education.How To Become an Dental Nurse:
To become a Dental Nurse, you must complete a dental nursing program. These programs are typically offered at community colleges, vocational schools, and universities.
