Datacenter Technician Manager Jobs

Manage and deliver the electrical work packages in multiple projects;

Assist the project manager in the preparation/review of project costs, and risk assessments;

Review contractor pre-qualifications and prepared tender evaluation summaries for tender reviews;

At least 5 - 10 years relevant working experience in electrical design and / or installation. Data Centre experience is mandatory;

Good knowledge of standard practices in the design and construction industry;

You have excellent communication skills towards colleagues and clients;

Problem Management : identifies service disruptions.

Change Management : plan and monitor changes.

Asset Management : Records, track entry / exit from Datacenter.

DC management system : performing the day to day DC operation and activity according to the established DCMS process/procedure.

• Perform server daily backup and tape management.

• Perform IT Service Management function, in the following area:

At least 5-10 years proven track record of Project Management experience handling Commercial package projects in Datacenter segments

Good knowledge of Electrical Distribution Systems and standards

Good knowledge of Contract Law and Trade documents

Familiar with Commercial and Legal implications of contracts and with regulatory requirements

Compares/differentiates/propose alternate products with additional customer value compared to competition.

Solves problems with customer interaction that results in positive feedback and improved relationship.

2+ years’ experience in Security Program Management or Program Management in a related field or demonstrated transferrable skills.

Bachelor’s degree in a security or management related discipline, and 5+ years’ experience in security management or equivalent experience

Working knowledge of facility security systems to include alarms, locks, and management of access control personnel.

Provides an independent (human) two-factor authentication and authorization for all activity on site (Factor 1 = Datacenter Management Factor 2= DSOM).

Experience developing and documenting standard operating plans, procedures, and processes.

Experience with or exposure to regulatory and industry compliance frameworks and audits.

Ability to balance varying responsibilities that span rhythm of business, communications, executive management, and culture.

Strong customer service focus, with the ability to communicate with highly technical management teams.

Registered Professional Architect in APAC region with min 5yrs of post qualification experience.

Experience and working knowledge planning and permitting in the South East Asia region

Technically competent in building regulation knowledge

Structured thinking and logic with very strong analytical skills.

Follows procedures to communicate, report, and escalate incidents to appropriate Microsoft data center operations management units, Technician Leads, and engineering specialists.

Completes required training aligned to the role and workload; observes more experienced technicians to gain hands-on experience and relevant on-the-job training.

2+ years' experience supporting IT equipment or related technology

Applicable certifications: CompTIA (A+, Server+, Network+), Basic Structure Cabling (BSC).

Demonstrates an applied understanding of standard processes and procedures for preparing, installing, performing diagnostics, troubleshooting, replacing, and/or decommissioning equipment

Complies with Data Center Services (DCS) business unit and service-level policies, procedures, and deadlines.
