Crisis Helpline Responder Jobs

Supporting in the development of appropriate crisis management plans to support callers in crisis

Complying with responsibilities under the Data Protection Acts 1988, 2003 & 2018 (GDPR)

Dedicating entire shift to intellect tasks and responsibilities only

1 - 3 years of experience in helplines, either in a paid or voluntary capacity

Experience working with high risk clinical situations (at risk of or affected by suicide or crisis cases) and

Providing a range of evidenced based, professional crisis counselling services and personal support, employing de-escalation techniques and crisis intervention techniques

5-7 years of physical security and crisis or emergency management experience gained in a corporate environment.

Knowledge of industry standards for crisis management and business continuity and operational risk management (ISO 22301, BS11200, ISO31000).

Strong understanding of crisis management and incident response.

Experience in managing the response to significant disruptive events.

Experience in risk analysis and data management related to emergencies

Experience in information management in emergencies

Assess information landscape and conduct stakeholder mapping for specific risk management analysis activities.

Safeguard the data management for sensitive datasets including encoding, storing, and transferring data to key stakeholders.

Provide technical expertise on primary and secondary data collection, management, storage and archiving.

Contribute to the development of documents and information management products in support of emergency operations.
