Overview A Compositor is a professional who is responsible for creating digital visual effects and compositing them into a final product. They are responsible for combining multiple elements, such as live-action footage, computer-generated imagery, and special effects, into a single image or sequence. Detailed Job Description A Compositor is responsible for creating digital visual effects and compositing them into a final product. This includes combining multiple elements, such as live-action footage, computer-generated imagery, and special effects, into a single image or sequence. The Compositor must be able to work with a variety of software programs and tools to create the desired effect. They must be able to work with a team of other professionals to ensure that the project is completed on time and to the highest standards. Job Skills Required
• Expertise in compositing software such as Adobe After Effects, Nuke, and Fusion
• Knowledge of 3D software such as Maya, 3DS Max, and Cinema 4D
• Ability to work with a variety of formats, including 2D and 3D
• Knowledge of color correction and color grading techniques
• Ability to work with a team of other professionals
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work under tight deadlines
Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Graphic Design, or related field
• At least two years of experience in compositing and visual effects
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator
• Knowledge of 3D software such as Maya, 3DS Max, and Cinema 4D
• Knowledge of color correction and color grading techniques
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
