Biodiversity Manager Jobs

Minimum 10 years of full-time work experience in relevant field, with program implementation and project management experience.

Highly organized and systematic with strong time management skills

A master’s degree in biology conservation, forestry, and natural resource management-related science.

Ability to deftly manage projects with strong critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills and balance attention to detail with big-picture thinking.

Supervise and manage the implementation of the protocols in collaboration with the program team.

Ability to manage professional relationships and effective communication

•Minimum 5 years of practical experience in international project development related to biodiversity/forestry/ sustainable land management.

•Proven track record in handling Forestry Management & Compliance Management

•Having experience running Forestry Project & coordination with various stakeholders including governmental sectors.

•Having good analytical & problem-solving skills.

•Awareness and understanding of the relevant land degradation, biodiversity, climate change, and other related conventions;

•Regular site visits with the founding team for key performance pillar measurements, quantification, and projections.

Supporting project management and finance team with biodiversity activity scheduling and budgeting.

Advising on ways to improve biodiversity field staff management and retention.

Strong Microsoft Office skills (particularly Excel); some additional knowledge of software such as Camelot, SMART, EarthRanger, RStudio is preferred.

Experience, ability, and willingness to work in remote and difficult field conditions.

Monthly reporting to the Biodiversity Lead and relevant project managers on activities and biodiversity outcomes.

A Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in implementing or managing biodiversity surveys in Indonesia.
