Backend Lead Jobs

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant field

Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns, enterprise application patterns, pattern-oriented software architecture, gang of four and/or other patterns catalogs

Contribute to company-wide engineering initiative as part of the management team.

Build norms and processes to ensure unified, high-quality backend services to improve user experience across all products.

Manage, grow and develop teams dedicated to improving backend engineering across all product teams.

You are obsessed over the customer and their experiences.

Recruit great backend engineers in collaboration with our recruitment team.

Work with backend engineers to find out their pain points and how to improve their situations across all teams.

Lead and manage the backend development team, providing guidance, mentorship, and technical leadership.

Collaborate with product managers, frontend developers, and designers to define and implement backend architecture and API specifications.

Stay up to date with the latest backend technologies, trends, and best practices, and share knowledge with the team.

Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in backend development.

Proven experience leading backend development teams and driving successful project delivery.

Experience with designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.

Write functional requirement documents and guides

At least 5 years of experience as a Backend Engineer

Knowledged about cloud environment (AWS/ GCP/ Alibaba/ etc)

Working knowledge of NoSQL, SQL and High Availability (HA) in Microservices architecture

Hands-on experience in message broker such as Kafka/ ActiveMQ/ RabbitMQ/ etc

Hands-on experience in caching tools such as Redis/ MongoDB/ etc

Five+ years of experience building infrastructure for great products.

A proven experience for working with Node.js

Relevant Bachelor’s degree or certification. A masters would be a plus.

Excellent knowledge of at least 3+ programming languages (e.g. Java, PHP, Ruby Python, Javascript, etc.)

Working knowledge of nix systems, networking and internet protocols.

Proven experience with software design and OOD methodologies.

Provide the team members with a vision of project objectives as described by the Project Manager

Ensure that the deliverables satisfy the specified project requirements and deadlines

At least have 2 years of experience as a team leader of small developer teams

Have solid analytical thinking skills

Experience developing web application and solid understanding of web technologies

Experience building, deploying, and supporting Internet-facing application
