At SkilledUp Life, we provide free volunteer opportunities to individuals by pairing them with British Tech Companies. We help them build work experience and improve their career prospects. We currently have over 30,000+ volunteers from over 100+ countries who have utilized SkilledUp Life to build work experience, and skills and land their dream job.

Key Responsibilities:

• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in UI/UX design and immersive entertainment experiences.
• Design and refine user flows, information architecture, and visual designs for web and mobile interfaces.
• Collaborate with the development team to understand user requirements and translate them into intuitive and visually appealing UI/UX designs for the company's platform.
• Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to continuously improve the user experience.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless implementation of UI designs and maintain design consistency.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to effectively communicate design concepts and interactions.
• Conduct user research and gather insights to inform design decisions and ensure a user-centered approach.

Requirements:

• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality design work.
• Knowledge of responsive design and mobile-first design principles.
• Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer, preferably with experience in web and mobile application design.
• Passion for immersive entertainment and a desire to contribute to its growth and accessibility.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs that effectively communicate design concepts.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
