Region NCE - SBU NCE Service - Local Technical and Commercial Planning

The Finnish service department with headquarters in Vaasa is responsible for service and maintenance of all Vestas' wind farms in Finland. The department has an open and informal culture where partnership and good communication are the key to our success. Responsibilities

As a technical planner, you will be responsible for:

• Technical analysis and preparation of service orders for technicians and technical approval of service orders after completion
• Daily communication with technicians, planners, technical and customer group
• Find technical documentation / work instructions for technicians
• Define resources needed for service orders, e.g., competencies, materials, and tools
• Continuous improvement, including proactive search for areas for improvement, as well as strategic and long-term approach to planning future tasks

Qualifications

At the professional level, it is desired that you have:

• Newly qualified engineer (e.g., mechanical, production or high voltage)
• Fluent language skills in English and Finnish
• Experience with technical planning, ideally obtained in a technical related environment, alternatively
• Electrician in an established role with a focus on technical specifications, documentation, and reporting
• Good IT skills, Salesforce/ SAP experience is welcome
• Wind turbine technician

When it comes to personal qualities, we expect you to have:

• Ability to evaluate and identify trends
• Good communication skills both oral and in writing
• Ability to think clearly in a time-sensitive setting, as well as the ability to handle varying workloads and tasks
• Self-driven, structured, and solution-oriented
• Understanding of new technology, and interest in diving into technical documentation
