Job Summary:

The Indonesian Tax Manager is responsible for managing the organization's tax compliance and planning, as well as providing tax advice to management.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation of the organization's various tax returns and other regulatory filings

• Identify and mitigate tax risks

• Develop and implement tax planning and optimization strategies

• Advise management on tax matters and implications of business decisions

• Monitor and stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations

• Coordinate with external tax advisors as needed

• Manage the tax budget and forecast

• Review and analyze tax data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/tax or a related field

• Professional tax designation is a bonus

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior tax role

• Strong understanding of Indonesian tax principles and reporting standards

Experience:

• Experience preparing and filing Indonesian tax returns (Tax, Withholding; VAT,…)

• Experience with property tax planning and risk management

• Experience advising management on tax matters

• Experience with the big four or real estate companies is preferred.

• Experience with fast growth, international companies (ideally)
