Summary of the Role

Villa Kitty is looking for an experienced Senior Vet who will work alongside the Villa Kitty vets caring for the health and well being of the resident cats and dogs and who will do sterilisation operations daily.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct sterilisation for cats
• Assist with the professional development and mentoring of the veterinary clinic team.
• Inspect and monitor the health and well-being of all animals within the shelter to ensure appropriate care and timely treatment is given.

Qualifications:

• Experience in supervising, training and developing other clinical staff
• The resilience to bounce back from occasional setbacks
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, prioritise multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Highly developed diagnostic and surgical ability
• Exceptional communication and empathy skills.
• A degree in veterinary science.
• Ability to establish and maintain confidentiality in dealing with issues of a sensitive nature.
• High degree of motivation and demonstrated ability to work well as part of a team, but also to work independently, with minimum supervision when required
• A minimum of 5 years experience working with cats and dogs
• An interest and/or experience in animal welfare and an understanding of disease control in a shelter environment.

Location: MAS, Ubud, Gianyar Regency, Bali 80571, Indonesia

Type of Employment: This is a full time position.
