Senior Sourcing Merchandiser

Responsibilities

• Product development, costing, production planning, and working with clients, suppliers, and the production factory.
• Evaluate and select potential suppliers by reviewing their capabilities and facilities.
• Develop new products and promote them to customers to meet sales targets and quotations.
• Other work as assigned by the line manager.
• Conducting market trend surveys.
• Product presentation through samples and display to buyers during their visits.
• Independently dealing with customers and vendors/factories
• Sourcing, making offers, and preparing an itinerary for buyers.
• Negotiate purchasing terms and costs with vendors and suppliers to meet the buyer’s requirements.
• Monitor on-time delivery and leverage the vendor’s performance and product quality.
• Sourcing suitable suppliers based on customer inquiries and orders.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English (speaking, writing, listening, and reading)
• Education required: university or college graduate, related to marketing, sales, or export is preferable.
• A team player, energetic, well organized, and able to work under pressure and participate in challenging duties.
• Good communication skills possess teamwork, group cooperation, and a higher sense of responsibility.
• Having trading or procurement experience in the US Market will be preferable.
• Categories: hard-lines, home accessories, home decor, stationery, etc.
• Commitment and dedication to the job, be able to travel on business trips (local and international).

Quality Control Personnel

Responsibilities

• Deal with assignment the superior dispatches.
• Share case studies in relation to inspection and factory assessment if needed.
• Conduct general inspection procedures (inspection arrangement, during inspection, final inspection, on-site QC Station, co-inspection, etc.) according to company's SOP, find out problems, and seek the relative solutions during inspection to make sure the quality of goods and shipment are on schedule.

Qualifications

• Language: English (intermediate); proficiency in Chinese is a plus.
• Honest, diligent, and independent characters.
• Education background: Bachelor’s degree
• Working experience in general inspection or in the factory is a plus. Especially related to tools, hard-line, home decor, home accessories products.
• Willing to travel on business trips related to inspections. (Local and international).
