Position: Senior Litigator

You will be reporting to the Head of Legal & Compliance Indonesia. You will be responsible for any and all litigation affairs ranging from criminal, civil and industrial relation matters. You will be required to manage and coordinate efficiently with both internal stakeholders as well as the external stakeholders. Your ultimate goal is to create a deterrent effect and send a strong message to the stakeholders not to cause a detrimental effect to the business and systems. Your stakeholders will vary from C-Level to the managerial and staff members. Upon satisfactory reflection of legal ownership of your deliverables and your leadership qualities, as the Company expands and grows, you will be leading your own litigation team members.

Key Responsibilities

• To manage any and all litigation affairs ranging from criminal, civil and industrial relation proceedings
• As necessary, escalate the criminal findings with efficient coordination with the external stakeholders (e.g., the Police institution, the appointed external lawyers and the court members) and litigate the fraudsters accordingly.
• To collaborate with the internal stakeholders (e.g., the collection team, the HR team, the I.T. & Product team, etc.) to nail the internal fraudsters and handle the industrial relations matters.
• Other litigation support required to protect the business interest within Indonesia.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• You own your mistakes, you learn from them and you strive to improve.
• Bachelor of law from a reputable university. Master's degree is a big plus, but not a determining factor.
• You eat constructive feedback like champions.
• Expertise at the following legal field: (i) litigation and civil laws proceedings; (ii) labor laws and industrial relation proceeding (iii) investigation skill is crucial.
• You are the enabler, not a blocker!
• Laser-cut details, indexing skills and neat documentation .
• Minimum 8 to 10+ years of experience, with combined experience from a top tier law firm and start-up company
• Advanced level of English proficiency is a must.
