The Role

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Working with a strong set of teams to improve developing and deploying applications and customizations
• Applying new technology and innovation to improve platform functionality
• Performing peer code reviews and Code audit - Analyze existing code and remediate performance issues within existing applications
• Creating tools, libraries, and frameworks for other developers to build upon
• Collaborating with best of breed UX designers, researchers and front-end developers to ensure seamless flow and interactivity...or work full stack and build the front end functionality you need!
• Delivering and outstanding experience for our customers
• Building well-documented, repeatable API’s
• Architecting and implementing a large, secure and scalable distributed system
• Unit testing modules, integration testing with other modules to deliver quality code (partnering with QA)
• Providing ongoing support, maintenance and enhancement of systems

Ideal Profile

• You have understanding of secure coding principles.
• You have 3+ years of experience building scalable web applications using Node.js.
• You have expertise working with JavaScript, node.js and MongoDB.
• You have 6+ years of development experience in core coding languages (ie, Java, C/C++, .Net, etc).
• You have a Bachelor’s/Master's degree in STEM, or equivalent experience.
• You have significant experience creating API’s, using OpenAPI specification and tools.
• You have strong knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals (object-oriented design, algorithm design, data structures, problem solving, and complexity analysis).
• You have experience as lead on projects or technical components.
• You have experience building complex systems.
• You have experience with AWS cloud infrastructure.
