Job Description

Komodo helps you make faster and more efficient procurement decisions. Our mission is to create a procurement platform that is efficient, seamless, and compliant. Our platform is designed with the needs of real procurement users in mind.

We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer to join our team. We are looking for great problem solvers who enjoy collaborating with others (not just engineers) that value well-written and tested code. Our core platform consists of microservices written in Go.

Responsibilities

  • You will develop quality software through design review, code reviews and automated testing.
  • Active engagement in technical discussions during architecture meetings, code reviews, and task breakdown.
  • Collaborate closely with the tech team and perform code reviews
  • You will build and manage data ingestion into multiple systems (ElasticSearch, BigQuery)
  • Collaborate/work together with Product managers/owners, Frontend Developers, to deliver both new functionality and iterative improvements to the current product.
  • Build scalable and maintainable software


Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Information Systems / Computer Engineering or related field
  • Strong ownership of your work, with demonstrated ability to drive projects from inception through to completion.
  • Experience working with SQL/NoSQL databases, ability to write complex queries and optimize them
  • Understanding of distributed systems architecture and best practices in distributed system design.
  • Golang experienced 4-7 years
