Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our systems are modern and competitive.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Optimize and scale existing backend services and APIs for performance and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues, providing timely resolutions.
  • Design, develop, and maintain efficient and reliable Go code.
  • Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and maintainability.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts effectively.
  • Proficiency in using Go's concurrency patterns and best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proven experience as a Go Developer with a strong portfolio of Go-based projects.
  • Familiarity with databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB) and experience with data modeling.
  • Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
  • Experience with backend development, including building and consuming RESTful APIs.
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Preferred:

  • Contributions to open-source Go projects or community involvement.
  • Experience with other programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) and serverless architecture.
