Role

As a Scrum Master, you will be responsible for managing and guiding our agile software development team in the creation of innovative fintech products. Your expertise in Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, will be crucial in ensuring the team's productivity, efficiency, and successful delivery of high-quality software solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, software engineers, designers, and stakeholders, to ensure seamless project execution.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between team members, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in Agile software development and fintech, incorporating relevant insights into the team's practices.
• Guide the team in breaking down complex projects into manageable user stories, tasks, and deliverables, promoting a culture of transparency and shared understanding.
• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring adherence to Agile principles.
• Foster a continuous improvement mindset within the team, encouraging experimentation, innovation, and the adoption of best practices to enhance product quality and development efficiency.
• Serve as the Scrum Master for the development team, fostering an environment of collaboration, continuous improvement, and high performance.
• Monitor and track project progress, identifying and removing any impediments or bottlenecks that may affect the team's ability to meet sprint goals.
• Collaborate closely with product owners, stakeholders, and other teams to define project requirements, prioritize work, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Coach and mentor team members on Agile principles, practices, and values, fostering a self-organizing, cross-functional, and high-performing team culture.

Qualifications

• A proactive and adaptable mindset, with a focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement.
• Solid background in software development, preferably within the fintech industry, and familiarity with modern software engineering practices and technologies.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts and ideas clearly and concisely.
• Excellent knowledge of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
• Proven experience as a Scrum Master, leading Agile software development teams in the delivery of complex projects.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or other relevant Agile certifications are highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of Agile principles, values, and frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, etc.), with a track record of successful implementation in previous roles.
• Strong facilitation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead discussions, resolve conflicts, and promote collaboration across cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Has around 3+ years in scrum role; 5+ years in Project Management/Delivery
