Job Summary:
Great Dynamic is seeking an expert machinist to help support customer relationships by providing technical advice and troubleshooting support for Metal Cutting Tooling. This role will enable Great Dynamic to be the go-to supplier for customer tooling application demands. This role will work with Account Executive to support the customer's technical needs.
This is a field-based position where you will spend up to 80% of your time visiting customers. Great Dynamic does provide a company vehicle and pays for all fuel to support the driving required for the role. The other 20% of your time would be spent working from the office to prepare for your customer visits, respond to emails, join team meetings, attend remote training, etc.
Requirements:
- Years of Relevant Work Experience Required: 4-6 Years of machining experience
- Vast knowledge of CNC Milling and CNC Turning
- Communication skills with good command of English (Oral & Written)
- Hands-on experience with Metal Cutting Tooling in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Experience with (or willing to learn) a structured sales process, professional selling skills, and strategic selling methodologies
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide technical expertise on products (e.g., product lifecycle obsolescence), customer programs (e.g., product upgrades) and customer cost savings initiatives.
- Track all Metal Cutting Tooling products in stock and forecast future demand based on customers’ needs.
- Call on assigned customer accounts to introduce new products or services or promote existing products or services.
- Work with account executives to support existing accounts or to win new business on Metal Cutting Tooling products.
- Communicate with assigned customer accounts or potential customers to troubleshoot problems or answer questions about products or services offered on all Metal Cutting Tooling products.
- Create proposals for new business opportunities using knowledge of the company’s products or services and knowledge of the customer’s industry needs.
- Maintain existing business and grow share of wallet with assigned customer accounts
