Who are we looking for?


We are seeking Rotating Equipment Lead Engineer:


  • Controls, guides and implements engineering standards in all Rotating Equipment Maintenance activities as per the organization , OEM and/or International standards. Where standards are not available, he will maintains as per the best known engineering practices. He shall provides input to clarify any technical parameters and confirms maintenance jobs meeting standard engineering specifications and quality acceptable.


Analyze and improve bad actor equipment reliability, and completing all assigned ESRs assinged to him on time and with high quality.


Qualifications


  • For B.Sc. degree — 10-15 years relevant experience in Fertilizer or Petro-Chemical Industry.
  • Excellent knowledge in English & Computer.
  • SAP knowledge will be added advantage.
  • B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University .


Duties and responsibilities


  • Conduct field troubleshooting and investigation for all rotating equipment failures to come up with permanent solution with strong liaisons between with MCE to overcome complicated problems.
  • Supports production engineers during commissioning and acceptance of new or modified equipment.
  • Ensure the business processes and work activities, relevant to assignments, are executed in compliance with the organization policy, procedures and best practice to achieve the business objectives in a safe, efficient and cost effective manner.
  • Participate in project pre-commissioning, commissioning and start up.
  • Support the rotating equipment team to resolve complected rotating equipment problems
  • Develops maintenance programs such as the Reliability and Preventive Maintenance Programs for rotating equipment.
  • Assists the line Maintenance organizations in the implementation of approved programs by furnishing information, authoritative interpretation. conducting training sessions and analyzing accountability and progress reports.
  • Participate in reviewing rotating equipment design packages against SES.
  • Serves as a technical consultant to the rotating equipment team.
  • Leads a team which is responsible for field-wide planning, scheduling and under the direction of concerned Rotating Equipment Section Manager.
  • Provides technical support to Maintenance Supervisors and technicians for quality and safe execution of the work, and ensures that the maintenance job carried out according to Standard Maintenance Procedures, EHSS standers. OEM guidelines and work instructions. Exercises general supervision over testing, overhauling and repair of mechanical rotating equipment. Receives and deliver daily briefing on work status, follows up on overdue critical or complex jobs, and determines work priorities, evaluates and decides on technical options, inspects work in progress, and resolves any technical problems. Supporting new projects by studying technical drawing, documents and providing technical comments and recommendations whenever needed to meet best engineering practices, SES and API,
  • Identifies requirements for and organizes provision of long and short-term specialist assistance from manufacturers and technical contractors. Ensures that work specified is performed to required standards.
  • To evaluate MTBF and do full study to resolve all bad actors.
  • Provides general guidance and work direction for technicians in rotating equipment section
  • Implement Fault analysis process to solve rotating equipment problems.
  • Provide full technical support to all types of rotating equipment (compressors, steam turbines, pumps, blowers, Fans, Motors, etc.)
  • Identify chronic problems in his area of work and follow up with concern departments like Engineering, Operations and Inspection for rectification.
  • Conduct field performance test for rotating equipment, measure system curves and identify BEP
  • Advises line operations and maintenance supervisors on matters related to rotating equipment maintenance and operation.


Participates in budgeting for rotating section needs, providing cost estimates for operations/ technical department and other personnel as requested. Initiate Management of Change for any modifications to improve the performance & reliability of the Equipment and system when required.


Attend PHA study, PHA review. And conduct Failure analysis whenever requested.

  • Interviews stage


2.1 LHR Americas preliminary phone/video interview: A member of the Talent Acquisition team from LHR Americas will first schedule a call with you to discuss the details of the position, your interests, and qualifications. Furthermore, your English level will be evaluated at this stage, ONLY native or advanced speakers will approve this evaluation.


If this preliminary phone/video interview is successful, your resume will be submitted to our client.


If your preliminary phone/video interview is not successful, our Talent Acquisition consultant will inform you.


2.2 Client Face to Face interview: This interview will happen only if your resume is approved by our client, we cannot guarantee the time our client will take to approve your resume, but it should take less than a week.


If your resume is approved a member of the Talent Acquisition Team will get back to you and schedule a face-to-face meeting in a defined location. You will be told to go to the location.


The client interview contains technical questions that help assess your familiarity with problem-solving in your given field and may include a behavioral evaluation. Be prepared to explain how you approach problems and produce solutions.


If your face-to-face interview is successful, the hiring team will further evaluate your resume, decide, and then receive a conditional job offer.


If your face-to-face interview is not approved, LHR Americas will inform you.


2.3 There could be additional video interviews with hiring managers, which may also contain technical questions that help us assess your familiarity with problem-solving in your given field.
