E-COMMERCE, RESERVATIONS and DISTRIBUTION LEADER

Boutique Dive & Yoga Resort

Based in NUSA PENIDA


On behalf of our client, we are looking for a highly talented hotel eCommerce and Reservations specialist who aspires to be a successful leader in a boutique dive & yoga resort in Nusa Penida. The eCommerce, Reservations and Distribution leader is responsible for managing the reservations process and guest service delivery, as well as defining and executing the resort's digital media and eCommerce strategy, to ensure excellent guest service and financial profitability. This position is based in Nusa Penida.


Overview

The eCommerce, Reservations and Distribution Leader will lead the resort reservations operations, develop the digital marketing and eCommerce programs, manage online content, seek online marketing opportunities, and manage the company's website and web traffic. Search Engine Marketing (including PPC and SEO), Mobile Marketing, Display Advertising, Email Marketing, and Social Media Advertising will be among the digital marketing efforts. This position also oversees the Ecommerce activity, including the management of the resort's website, in order to effectively drive onsite bookings.

Key Responsibilities

Reservations

  • Provide guests with information about rates and policies, including cancellation policies.
  • Handle customer service for online phone calls, e-mails, Facebook, and others.
  • Lead reservation control, maximize revenue and yield through business trend analysis, and highlight areas of opportunity in electronic distribution strategies on an ongoing basis.
  • Manage daily Reservations processes and operations to include, but are not limited to, room inventory and availability, group/retreat rooming lists and blocks, cut-off dates and restrictions, occupancy, selling guest rooms, systems use and management, budgeting and forecasting, policy and procedure implementation and enforcement.
  • Monitor transient, group and retreat booking pace in order to determine pricing and availability controls for all reservation distribution sources.

eCommerce

  • Serve as the point of contact for the resort on digital marketing/eCommerce-related questions and activities.
  • Manage eCommerce website content updates, coordinating site changes with web developer, including pricing changes, content, and image modifications.
  • Monitor the hotel's eCommerce strategies as they are being implemented.
  • Conduct rate and content audit on contracted OTA’s, resort brand website, and OTA screens in terms of search criteria, rate sequencing, rate descriptions, and images.
  • Monitor and report on rate and availability parity are being maintained and agreements set are being adhered to.
  • Leads the setup, management, and reporting on the Meta search engine partnerships to improve hotel website performance.
  • Coordinate the development of eCommerce tactics in line with brand guidelines, including SEO, SEM campaign preparation, and analysis.
  • Increase web traffic/sales, as well as the growth of eCommerce applications, through targeted online campaigns and retention strategies that have a high level of acquisition and conversion.
  • Support the operation department with the handling of technical setup, knowledge of review sites and review measurement tools, and their impact on the booking path.

Distribution

  • Meet and influence key distribution partners and market managers to gain market insight.
  • Daily management of hotel online presence on various Online Travel Agent websites.
  • Monitor and control the distribution through all channels and closely monitor business shifts.
  • Maintain the relevant distribution channels and optimization of OTA extranets.
  • Negotiate and close new business opportunities with new partners.
  • Maintain rate parity with all our distribution channels.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
  • Monitor and control that the dynamic pricing strategies is adhered to and promoted.
  • Develop measures and optimize ROI on new traffic generating channels.
  • Manage rate & inventory changes as well as content management.

Experience Requirements:

3+ years in hotel reservations and distribution

Qualifications:

  • Comfortable in discussions with leaders and teams
  • Strong experience or adaptable training in the use of automated systems, PCs and MsExcel, MsWord
  • Fluent in English
  • Communication and Influencing skills
  • Proven experience in analysis and problem solving required
  • Independent and self-reliant
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities under time constraints
  • Strategic thinking combined with the proven ability to move strategy to action
  • Self-study and independent work ethics are required
  • Team building skills and a proven track record is essential

Bachelor’s Degree preferred, not required.
