Job Description

Role : Research & Trainer Assistant, 3 months contract (approx)

Location: Jakarta/Depok/Bogor, with flexibility for remote work

Position: 1 slot, fresh graduate or final year student

nudgeplus is looking for an individual who can help to support our research portfolio and assist during our capacity building workshop.


nudgeplus is the pioneer of Nudge & behavioural science services in Indonesia, formed by experts and scholars who bring multidisciplinary insights. Through their extensive experience & network, our founders saw an increasing gap between the forefront development of behavioural science globally with its actual utilization in solving Indonesia’s many notorious behavioural problems.

Supported by IBEF (Indonesia Behavioral Economics Forum) – a community of scholars who studied behavioral economics (BE) in top-level universities globally, nudgeplus was born in 2019 out of similar desires to bring a rigorous scientific approach for helping public & private institutions in Indonesia create better decisions effectively. For the past 3 years, our capabilities & services have evolved into Research, Consultancy, and Training, along with our growing stakeholders & portfolios.

We are hiring short-time positions to be part of the team for our research portfolio and capacity building ‘nudge’ training for stakeholders working in policy making.


The training runs for 2 days in July (15, 16). Before and after the training, this position will support in preparing the training module and literature review. This is a part-time commitment (5-6 hours per day). We expect fresh graduate or final year student, with relevant background in Behavioural Economics from Economics or Psychology.


What we ask you to do?

  • Assist and coordinate with the nudgeplus trainers during the training facilitation.
  • Conduct a literature review of nudge implementation in public policy and digital age.
  • Prepare a training modules and case study for both our research and training activities.
  • Support and assist nudgeplus social media activities.


What we are looking for?

  • At least a Bachelor degree in Economics or Psychology (final year student is encouraged to apply). We prioritise those having understanding and/or relevant experience in behavioural economics or nudge.
  • Have relevant experience in academic research and training or group facilitation.
  • Keen and understanding of some behavioural issues in public policy and digital nudge context.
