Job Description

About Our Client

Our Client is a first decentralized derivatives protocol focused on exotic derivatives. Our client aims to create high yielding, safer products for investors in Web3. They make this possible through creating innovative vault products such as a structured note (fixed coupon note) with exotic derivative characteristics and implementing it on a network with fast transaction speeds, availability of derivative liquidity, and strong risk management capabilities.

What you do

  • Collaborate with product managers and our customer facing teams to analyze customer problems and design high impact features Continuously learn about new technologies and ways to solve problems Design and champion a strong engineering culture that truly empowers engineers
  • Liaise with technical and project management teams globally in North America and Asia to coordinate development efforts
  • Work on internal tooling to improve the development experience of other engineers and ship faster and safer
  • Assist technical team to deliver features
  • Find and address performance/code quality issues


Who we look for

Must have:

  • Experience in writing and maintaining CSS for large projects
  • Enthusiastic about building web applications using modern tools like ES7, React, Redux, CSS
  • 4 Years+ experience in JavaScript based frontend frameworks, such as, ReactJS
  • Even though this position is mainly frontend focused, we expect you to have some grasp of the whole stack to be able to effectively communicate with engineers across the team, and can make backend or infrastructure changes when the situation calls for it
  • Help strike the right balance between development costs and benefits to users
  • Extensive experience in Javascript and be extremely knowledgeable of the language and associated ecosystem

Nice to have

  • Experience in technical and project team management will be a big plus.
  • Experience in CI/CD workflows
  • Experience in working on cloud infrastructure (e.g. AWS / GCP / Azure)
  • Experience in backend development, including creating APIs (RESTful or GraphQL) and interactions with SQL relational database
