We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Shopify Developer with expertise in Java programming language to join our client, a startup with globally-distributed teams. As a Shopify Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining e-commerce website on the Shopify platform, ensuring a seamless and exceptional user experience.

Responsibilities:

- Design and develop Shopify-based e-commerce websites, adhering to best practices and industry standards.

- Customize themes and templates to match the brand's aesthetic and optimize user experience.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement new features.

- Integrate third-party applications and plugins to enhance website functionality.

- Conduct thorough testing to identify and resolve any bugs or performance issues.

- Monitor website performance and implement optimization techniques to improve page load times and overall user experience.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in e-commerce and Java development.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

- Proven experience as a Shopify Developer with a strong portfolio of successful Shopify projects.

- Proficiency in Java programming language.

- In-depth knowledge of Shopify's Liquid templating language and its APIs.

- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

- Experience in integrating third-party APIs and plugins with Shopify.

- Understanding of SEO best practices for e-commerce websites.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Note: You will be working with colleagues from different countries, therefore a good command of English is essential for this role.
