• Establishing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement in quality metrics.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive quality initiatives, including process improvements and defect reduction programs.
• Providing training and guidance to employees on quality standards, processes, and best practices.
• Managing and coordinating external audits, including interactions with customers and certification bodies.
• Conducting regular internal audits to assess compliance and identify areas for improvement.
• Investigating and resolving quality issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions as necessary.
• Leading and managing all aspects of the quality management function, ensuring adherence to ISO 9001 QMS requirements.
• Staying updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes affecting the machining industry.
• Developing, implementing, and maintaining quality procedures, processes, and documentation to meet regulatory and customer requirements.

The Successful Applicant

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and customers.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or technical field. Advanced degree preferred.
• Proficient knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and other quality tools.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Experience in managing customer relationships, addressing customer concerns, and supporting quality-related customer requirements.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management within the machining industry.
• Familiarity with machining processes and related quality control techniques.
• Leadership qualities, including the ability to inspire and drive change.
• Solid understanding and practical experience with ISO 9001 QMS requirements and implementation.
