Program Coordinator Jobs

We are looking for an enthusiastic Indonesian National to join our team as a Programme Coordinator in Bukit Lawang.

Responsibilities

As a Programme Coordinator, you will plan and deliver lessons to children and adults in everything from Conservation and Eco Farming to English and Sustainable Business. You will be responsible for planning and delivering high quality, engaging sessions for all learners in the ten rural communities we serve. We work from a curriculum which ensures good skill progression and it is essential that you can adapt lessons to suit the learner needs and level. As a Coordinator, you will also help to manage and support our international volunteers during their placements with us. It is essential that you have excellent English translation skills because you will help with daily translation between staff, volunteers, partners and the community.

Qualifications

• Experience in working within the field of education and conservation is desired
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English/Indonesian are essential
• Experience of teaching is essential
• Some experience of leadership is desired but not essential
• Experience in community development work is desired
