Job Description

Seeking a highly skilled and motivated Production Specialist to join our team. As a dedicated professional, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring efficient and smooth operations within our production environment.


With a keen eye for detail and a passion for quality, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the production process. From coordinating schedules and resources to monitoring production metrics, your expertise will contribute to meeting production targets while maintaining exceptional standards.


Your strong technical knowledge and problem-solving abilities will be essential in troubleshooting issues that may arise, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal productivity. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement innovative solutions.



Responsibilities

As a Production Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the production process to ensure efficient operations and the timely delivery of high-quality products. Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Production Planning: Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop production schedules, considering factors such as resource availability, production capacity, and customer demand. Creating production plans that optimize efficiency while meeting quality and delivery requirements.
  2. Quality Assurance: Implementing and maintaining quality control processes to ensure that products meet established standards and specifications. Conducting regular inspections, tests, and audits to identify and address any deviations or non-conformities. Collaborating with quality teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  3. Resource Management: Monitoring and managing resources, including equipment, materials, and manpower, to support production activities. Coordinating with procurement and logistics teams to ensure the availability of necessary resources and maintain optimum inventory levels.
  4. Process Optimization: Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing strategies to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and minimize costs. Analyzing production data and metrics to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for optimization.
  5. Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Proactively addressing production issues, such as equipment malfunctions, material shortages, or deviations from specifications. Collaborating with maintenance and engineering teams to resolve technical problems and minimize downtime.
  6. Compliance and Safety: Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and safety guidelines. Promoting and maintaining a safe working environment by identifying and mitigating potential hazards and implementing best practices.
  7. Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining accurate production records, including production reports, inventory levels, and quality control documentation. Generating performance reports and presenting data to management, highlighting key metrics, trends, and areas for improvement.
  8. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working closely with various teams, including procurement, logistics, quality assurance, engineering, and maintenance, to foster effective communication, alignment, and collaboration. Participating in cross-functional projects and initiatives to drive process enhancements and operational excellence.
