Job Title: Production Planning and Inventory Control (PPIC) Coordinator

As a Production Planning and Inventory Control (PPIC) Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient production processes and optimal inventory management. Your responsibilities will involve coordinating production schedules, monitoring inventory levels, and collaborating with various departments to maintain a smooth workflow. This role requires attention to detail, effective communication, and strong organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1. **Production Scheduling:** Collaborate with production teams to create and maintain production schedules, ensuring timely completion of orders while optimizing resource utilization.

2. **Inventory Monitoring:** Regularly monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages or excesses. Initiate actions to replenish stock when necessary, avoiding disruptions to production.

3. **Demand Forecasting:** Work closely with sales and marketing teams to understand demand patterns and anticipate production needs based on market trends and customer orders.

4. **Material Coordination:** Coordinate with procurement to ensure the timely availability of raw materials and components required for production, minimizing delays.

5. **Capacity Planning:** Evaluate production capacity and capabilities to match them with demand. Identify potential bottlenecks and propose solutions for optimal production output.

6. **Data Analysis:** Analyze production and inventory data to identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and enhanced efficiency.

7. **Collaboration:** Foster communication and collaboration between different departments, such as production, procurement, and sales, to align objectives and streamline processes.

8. **Reporting:** Generate regular reports on production schedules, inventory levels, and performance metrics. Present findings to management for informed decision-making.

**Qualifications:**

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.

- Proficiency in using computer software and tools, especially spreadsheet applications.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with cross-functional teams.

- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and precision.

- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing circumstances.

- Knowledge of production planning software or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is a plus.
