Job Description

We are a furniture manufacturer based in Surabaya and currently searching for a Product Development to join our team. The ideal applicant will be an innovative and creative thinker. They will be able to execute deep product research and create an excellent prototype.


Responsibility

  • Work collaboratively with Product Designer to discover innovative and functional product concepts with a precise manufacturing calculations.
  • Create products using computer-aided design (CAD) software
  • Test product prototypes to make adjustment for design issues
  • Read technical drawing and explain it to production team
  • Coordinate with the production team to execute product concepts from the Product Designer


Requirement

  • Able to understand technical drawing and material specification
  • Able to operate 3D software (CAD, Sketchup, Fusion360, etc)
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
  • Bachelor's Degree in Product Design/Design/Architecture
  • Having experience doing research, concept, and sampling prototype will be an advantage
  • Willing to work and commute to both office (Surabaya) and factory (Sidoarjo)
