Advanced Manufacturing department from Telemecanique Sensors is hiring IT & Industrialization Electronic Product Test Engineer for our Offer creation Project and also for few Brand Labelling project and existing offer maintenance

• Designs, develops and implements cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems and equipment.
• Main mission:

Prepares test and diagnostic programs, designs test fixtures and equipment, and completes specifications and procedures for new products.
Plans the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices.
Responsibilities :

• Works across functional and organizational lines leveraging those relationships to support test development efforts.
• In partnership with the Industrialization Manager, develops goals that support plant Manufacturing objectives.
• Works as a project team member in the selection, design, and test of products/processes with emphasis on meeting specifications and cost goals, while ensuring ease of manufacture and high reliability.
• Works on various phases of a project as determined by the lead engineer and/or Test Engineering Manager.
• Analyzes customer returns to determine failure mode and implements test coverage enhancements as needed.
• Participates in the development of production-related plans, budgets, and procedures. Contribute to safety, ergonomics, and meeting regulatory compliance related to manufacturing testing.
• Designs from a functional specification, and develops test plans to ensure conformity and goals
• Determine qualification plan and implement it on the system you specified
• Business travel are requires to work with world wide team.
• Continually reports work milestones to the lead engineer/manager.
• Coordinates the implementation of In-Circuit Test capability through testability analysis and coordination of subcontract resources/suppliers
• Participates in the hardware and software design of automated and discrete test equipment for use in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications
Qualifications -

• Test Hardware design, hardware measures (electrical, mechanical, optical….), automation, IT and Motion skills
• Statistics (SPC)
• Fluent communication in French and English
• Proficient in LabVIEW programming.
• Industrial protocols (Modbus, Modbus TCP, CAN..)
• Some software experience: C# and/or Visual Basic (dot.NET) /MS-SQL (Microsoft)

Pre- requisite-

• Motivated self-starter, who able to work in parallel on multiple projects
• Proven ability to work successfully in a multicultural virtual environment across various functions (design engineering, purchasing, quality, marketing, finance, mfg operations and others)
• Work with minimal supervision
• Bachelors of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal)
• Proven ability to influence and convince through negotiation
• Requires 5-7 years’ experience in Manufacturing Test Development.
• Facilitator to drive problem solving and troubleshooting activities
