Position: Petroleum Engineering Intern

Petrogas Jatim Utama Cendana is a leading oil and gas company based in Surabaya, Indonesia. We are currently seeking a talented and enthusiastic Petroleum Engineering Intern to join our team. This internship opportunity will provide valuable hands-on experience in the field of petroleum engineering and an opportunity to work alongside industry professionals.


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct well tests and analyze data to assess reservoir behavior and performance.
  • Assist in economic evaluations and cost estimation for potential projects.
  • Assist in reservoir evaluation and performance analysis using industry-standard software and tools.
  • Support the drilling and production teams in planning and execution of field operations.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate reservoir, drilling, and production data.
  • Participate in the design and optimization of well completions and production systems.
  • Support the preparation of technical reports and presentations.


Requirements:

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Basic knowledge of well testing, production optimization, and reservoir simulation techniques.
  • Strong academic background in petroleum engineering and reservoir engineering principles.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.
  • Familiarity with petroleum engineering software, such as Eclipse, Petrel, Prosper, or equivalent.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related field.
  • Self-motivated and eager to learn.
