Job Summary:

You will be given the responsibility of ensuring that products are to be delivered in time and in the correct quantities. This involves working closely with the buying teams to accurately forecast trends, plan stock levels and monitor performance. As a merchandiser, you will also be performing a key role within a company, as profitability can be affected by how effectively they undertake their work. also assessing the needs of a specific brand, they thoroughly work with. And how they might vary based on factors such as customized specks and their target demographics.

Among other things, you will be asked to plan and develop merchandising strategies. Analyzing sales figures, customers reactions and market trends to anticipate product needs. Collaborating with buyers, suppliers, distributors and analysts to negotiate prices, quantities and time-scales.

Responsibilities:

• Negotiating quantities and delivery time-scales
• Working closely with buyers and planners to plan product ranges
• Managing levels and distribution of stock
• Quality control
• Managing budgets
• Meeting with suppliers, distributors and analysts
• Handling supply/production problems as they arise

Requirements:
