We are seeking a skilled Mandarin Translator to join our team. As a Mandarin Translator, you will be responsible for accurately translating written and spoken content from Mandarin to Indonesia and vice versa. The ideal candidate should have excellent language proficiency in Mandarin and Indonesia, along with strong attention to detail and cultural sensitivity

Responsibilities

• Translate written documents, including articles, reports, contracts, and other business-related materials, from Mandarin to Indonesia and vice versa.
• Ensure accurate and culturally appropriate translations that maintain the tone, style, and meaning of the original content.
• Interpret verbal communication during meetings, conferences, and other events.
• Conduct research to ensure accurate translation of technical terms and industry-specific terminology.
• Collaborate with other translators and team members to ensure high-quality translations and meet project deadlines.
• Proofread and edit translated materials for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and consistency.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Cultural sensitivity and awareness to adapt translations appropriately.
• Excellent knowledge of grammar, spelling, punctuation, and vocabulary in Mandarin.
• Bachelor's degree in translation, linguistics, or a related field is preferred.
• Good research skills to ensure accurate translations of technical terms.
• Fluent in Mandarin and Indonesia (written and spoken).
• Proven experience as a translator or in a similar role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines.
