Job Description

Job Title: Legal Manager

Location: Bali, Indonesia

We are a well-established and growing company in the real estate and hospitality industry in beautiful Bali. We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Legal Officer to join our team. This position plays a crucial role in managing and mitigating our legal risks, ensuring our company's compliance with Indonesian law and regulations.


Responsibilities:


1. Advise the executive team on all legal matters affecting the company, including new laws and regulations that may impact our operations in real estate and hospitality.


2. Develop, implement, and manage our internal legal processes and protocols to ensure we meet all compliance and reporting requirements.


3. Review, draft, and negotiate a broad range of agreements, including property purchases, leases, and contracts with vendors and partners.


4. Handle all real estate and hospitality legal issues, including property rights, leasing, financing, insurance and risk management and transactions.


5. Work closely with HR to ensure compliance with labor laws, manage employment contracts, and handle employee disputes.


6. Act as the main point of contact for all legal matters, including litigation and dispute resolution.


7. Collaborate with external lawyers as needed to handle specialized legal matters.


Requirements:


1. Law degree from a recognized university.


2. Minimum of 5 years of legal experience, preferably in real estate and/or hospitality.


3. Extensive knowledge of Indonesian laws and regulations, particularly in relation to real estate transaction property, contracts, and hospitality.


4. Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.


5. Excellent and Fluent in both English and Bahasa Indonesia is a must.


6. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks while meeting tight deadlines.


7. Excellent interpersonal, communication skills, both written and verbal.

8. Additional knowledge and experience of Malaysian or Thailand Law is an advantage.
