About The Legal Counsel Role

In a legal function seen as a real partner to the business, this is a great chance to gain exposure to practical challenges requiring both legal knowledge and commercial acumen. You will report to the CEO of the group.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain business license issues and registrations of the company in Indonesia
• Readiness to work in the Cirebon area
• Handle land acquisition, real estate and property matters of the group
• Handle all cases (mostly contracts negotiation) in the company
• Draft contracts with vendor, customer and all business partner and/or third parties
• Provide legal opinion to other departments regarding any issue related to legal

To succeed in this Legal Counsel role, you must be able to demonstrate a good understanding of how to grow the business.

Key Requirements

• Sound commercial acumen with the ability to challenge results, provide solution and form justifiable assumptions for the business
• Ability to demonstrate an understanding of and an interest in commercial legal
• Bachelor of Laws from a reputable university and a minimum of eight years' experience as a lawyer and/or a corporate in-house legal practitioner
• Strong business partnering skills
