It Manager Application Management Services & Development (Am&D)

This job is based in Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia and the client will cover relocation.
We are seeking an experienced IT Manager for a leadership role to support a strategic ERP solution leveraging SAP-ECC and connected applications such as BW, APO, OTM, Open Text, etc. The IT Manager will be responsible for the Application Management Services & Development (AM&D) of the ERP system, ensuring seamless operations and execution of new work orders and projects. The position is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and reports to the IT Director.
As the IT Manager, you will work closely with the AM&D vendor to ensure adherence to processes, agreed metrics, and KPIs. You will interact with business stakeholders regularly to build relationships and ensure high customer satisfaction, while also identifying continuous improvement project opportunities. Facilitating root cause analysis and maintaining a knowledge base of problems and resolutions will be key responsibilities, as will coordinating system upgrades, regression testing, and other activities as required.
To be successful in this role, you will need 14+ years of total SAP-ECC experience, with specialization in any one or more SAP Modules such as SD, MM, FICO. Experience of at least 3-4 SAP projects, including implementations, rollouts, and upgrades, is required. You should also have leadership experience in Application Management Services & Development for a large organization with SAP as the core platform, and strong experience in working with Service Now or equivalent tools. Fluency in English is mandatory, and exposure to non-SAP ERP systems will be an added advantage.
